Bernie is flying his flag for you. He is heading into town for the Celebration Parade that he is master of ceremonies. He is so excited since this will be his first time.
Bernie measures 50" and can either sit in a chair or be hung on a hanger. Bernie sports navy trousers with a primed americana print top. His top hat is painted and primed black with a band to match his top. He has stitched fingers and a pinched stitched nose and eyebrows with painted eyes. His beard and hair is white sheep's wool. I painted brown shoes on the feet with string stitching.
In his arms he is holding a muslin primmed sack with jute ties. In the sack aretwo primed and painted black crows with a stream of rusty stars. In his other arm I have made a flag from primed ticking and I stitched a navy star on the top of the flag and attached it to a cherry branch with a perching crow.
A must for the patriotic prim at heart
